It says your session ended
Learn why Orio360 signs you out after 30 minutes and how to sign in again.
Who can do this: Owner, Manager and Cashier
A session is the time you stay signed in. When nobody uses Orio360 for 30 minutes, the session ends. This keeps your business safe if someone walks away from a screen. Then you sign in again.
What you see
- In the admin app, a box opens 2 minutes before the end. It says Your session is about to expire and counts down.
- In the POS app, the sign-in page opens with Session Expired.
- On the kitchen screen, the sign-in page opens.
In the box of the admin app, press Stay signed in to keep working. Press Sign out now if you are done. Any key you press or any move of the mouse counts as use.
Sign in again
- Type your email in Email Address.
- Press Continue.
- Type the code from your email in the 6 boxes.
- Press Verify & Sign In.
The app opens again. At the till, look at the dark bar. If a small number shows there, some bills still wait to be sent. See Some bills have not synced.
Why it happens
- Nobody used the app for 30 minutes.
- The till was turned off, asleep or offline for more than 30 minutes. While the POS app is open and online, it talks to Orio360 every few minutes. So the till keeps its session.
- You pressed Logout or Sign out now.
If the sign-in page says Account is deactivated. Contact your administrator., your Owner turned off your account. Ask them to turn it on again.
