This page tells you which details Orio360 keeps, why we keep them, and who can see them.

It covers this website and the Orio360 apps.

When we say "we" or "us", we mean Check: our company legal name and address.

This website sets no cookies. It has no ads, and no tools that track you.

The help pages remember one choice: shops or restaurants. They keep it in your own browser, and it never comes to us.

Like any website, our servers see your IP address when they send you a page. Check: whether our servers keep a log of this, and for how long

The form on our Contact page asks for your name, email and phone number.

You can also tell us your business name, business type, city and plan, and write a message.

With your message, we keep the page you sent it from and the time you sent it.

We also keep your IP address and the name of your browser. They help us stop spam.

Your message goes to our team by email, and we save it in our own system.

We may send you a short email to say we got it.

We use your details to answer your message. We keep them for Check: how long we keep messages from this website.

A business uses Orio360 to run its shop or restaurant. The apps keep what the business puts in.

That means details about the business, its locations, its staff and its customers.

It also means products, prices, stock, bills, payments, orders, expenses and reports.

For each staff member, we keep a name, an email address, a phone number and a role.

For customers, the business may keep a name, a phone number, an email address and what they bought.

Some pages let customers send details to a business, like an order from its online store.

An expense can have a photo of the receipt.

The apps also keep some data in your browser. This lets you make bills when the internet stops.

The details of your customers belong to your business. We keep them for you.

We use them only to run Orio360 for you. Check: that we never sell this data or use it for ads

When you send a bill by WhatsApp, SMS or email, we pass the phone number or email to that service.

Before you send offers to customers, check that they agreed to get them.

In a business, each person sees what their role allows. An Owner sees the most.

A few people in our team can also see a business's data. They look only to help you or to fix a problem. Check: who in our team can see business data

The services that run Orio360 for us also hold the data. You can read about them below.

We share data with others only when the law says we must.

Orio360 runs on cloud services: Amazon Web Services, Aiven, Upstash and CloudAMQP.

Amazon Web Services keeps our files, like receipt photos and backups, in Mumbai, India.

Data travels between your device and Orio360 over secure links (HTTPS).

We never keep passwords as plain text.

We keep a business's data while its account is open.

When an account is cancelled, we make a copy of its data for the Owner.

We delete the business's data 90 days after the account is cancelled. Check: whether uploaded files, like receipt photos, are deleted then too

We delete the copy 120 days after the account is cancelled.

We keep backup copies for a while too. Check: how long we keep backup copies

We keep a record of who changed what, and when. We keep this record for 3 years.

This record also holds a copy of each message sent from this website.

You can ask to see the details we keep about you.

You can ask us to fix them, or to delete them.

The Owner of a business can download its data as CSV files, from the Data Export page.

If you are a customer of a business, please ask that business first.
