Add a product

Put each thing you sell in your product list. Then you can scan it or find it at the till. An Owner or a Manager can add products in the admin app.

The New Product page has a few steps. You see them at the top: Basic Info, Pricing & Tax, Stock, Images and Variants.

Fill in the basics

1. In the menu, open Catalog and press Products.
2. Press + Add Product.
3. Type the name in Product Name.
4. Scan the barcode into Barcode. You can also type it.
5. Type a few letters in Category. Then choose a category from the list.
6. Choose how you count the item in Unit of Measure, like Pieces.
7. Press Next.

Leave SKU empty, and Orio360 makes a product code for you. Is the category new? Choose Create in the list, and Orio360 adds it.

Add the price and the stock

1. Type the Selling Price (₹) and the Cost Price (₹).
2. Check the GST rate in Sales GST (on selling price).
3. Press Next.
4. Under Stock per Location, type how many you have at each location.
5. Press Next. On Images, you can add a photo.
6. Press Next again.
7. Press Create Product.

The message Product created successfully shows. The product is now in your list, and the till can sell it.

When you type both prices, Orio360 shows your Margin. That is what you earn on one item, before GST.
