See tables and orders on your phone

The Waiter app shows you the whole floor on your phone. See which tables are free, which orders are open, and which food is ready to serve.

Check your tables

1. Tap Tables on the bar at the bottom.
2. Tap a status to see only those tables: Available, Occupied, Reserved or Needs Cleaning.
3. Tap a table to see its details, like Capacity and Seated at.
4. Tap View Order to open the order of a busy table.

The buttons on a table change with its status.

• Seat Guests seats people at a free table. Type how many guests came.
• Mark Dirty says the guests have left and the table needs cleaning.
• Mark Available says the table is clean and free again.
• Cancel Reservation frees a table that was booked.

Follow an order

1. Tap Orders on the bar at the bottom. Active Orders lists the open orders.
2. Tap an order to open it. Each dish shows its status, like Preparing or Ready.
3. When you bring a ready dish to the table, tap Serve next to it.
4. When every dish is ready, you can tap Mark All Served instead.

The order moves through Placed, Preparing, Ready and Served. The app shows a message when a dish is ready.

See the kitchen

Tap Kitchen on the bar at the bottom. The Kitchen Board has one column of dishes for each kitchen station, like Grill or Bar. Swipe sideways to see more stations. Each dish shows the order number, the table and how long it has waited. A dish turns green when it is ready. Tap a dish to open its order.
